The mission of HSD is to provide professional dance instruction in a positive, creative, and supportive environment within the inner city; providing at risk youth and families with affordable professional dance training while emphasizing the importance of cultural pride, artistic growth and commitment to one’s self and community.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
