General Studio Policies

Severe Weather Days: You will be notified via email no later than 3 pm.
Open Enrollment
Classes for dancers who want to dance without the commitment of purchasing a costume or participating in the recital are able to participate in techniques classes.
​
Levels
​
Beginner: 0-2 years of dance instruction
Intermediate: 3-4 years of dance instruction
Advance: 4+ years of dance instruction

Attendance
​
Attendance is very important to improve skill levels. Plan to attend class regularly and inform the studio when your child will be absent
​
Class Observations
​
Parents/guardians are welcome to observe the first class of each month. Depending on the teacher’s preference and students’ ability to focus during class, the curtain to the classroom window may be open or closed.
​
Professional Pictures
​
Professional pictures will be taken of the dancers in costume during the month of April. These pictures are a great memento of your child/ren’s dance season. Class pictures appear in the recital program.

Hollywood Studio of Dance Newsletter
​
Hollywood Swingin’ newsletter is available monthly to inform parents/guardians of all activities related to the dance Studio. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to read the newsletter each month.
​
Practice CD
​
CDs containing the music your child will be dancing to will be available in late January.
​
Missed Classes:
​
No credit is given for missed classes due to weather or Government mandatory closures
​
